Jamaican by birth, Junior Strong was raised in a family rooted in love, hard work, and perseverance. A deeply spiritual individual, he believes his existence and survival are inseparable from his faith—a belief that powerfully informs his music. His songs are crafted to inspire and guide, offering awareness of social, relational, and spiritual issues while encouraging a deeper connection to creation and the Creator.
Remaining true to his reggae roots, Junior uses music as a tool for message, meaning, and motivation. Beyond recording, he is a multi-talented performer with a strong background in the arts. He has appeared on stage as a cast member in five Jamaican National Pantomimes and showcased his voice-acting skills in the Jamaican radio drama “Wrong Move,”portraying the character Brother John the Obeah Man.
Now based in the United States, Junior Strong continues to evolve artistically while staying grounded in his cultural and spiritual foundations. His music reflects his belief that “music has the power to heal, create, inform, and transform—it is a gift, and its impact depends on how it is used.”
